Hi I'm Tanya , and with over 20 years of experience as Counsellor / Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Counselling Trainer, I offer my extensive experience and knowledge  My goal is to support you in finding ways through what is causing you difficulties. 

I work with many of life's challenges and have a specific interest and training in working with trauma and working somatically and with how we store tension in the body.

Services

Counselling

I offer counselling for general life challenges such as anxiety, stress, loss, abuse and depression.

I also provide sensorimotor and trauma therapy including dissociation and attachment difficulties.

I have experience and expertise in working with chronic health conditions and spiritual issues.

 

Sessions are 50 minutes and the fee is £65.00.

Initial Assessment sessions are up to 60 minutes and are £65.00.

Somatic Supervision Groups

I facilitate monthly small supervision groups where we explore and process what we as counsellors hold somatically in relation to our client work in order to notice and release this.

£40.00 per session.

Supervision

I provide individual supervision for counsellors in training, those who are qualified and experienced.

These range form 45 minutes fortnightly, to 60 or 90 minutes monthly.

Fee is £65.00 per hour.

My list for this is currently full. 

 

 

I also offer ad hoc consultation supervision for complex trauma, attachment, dissociation and DID.

Fee is £65.00 per hour

REST Therapy Training for Counsellors

Relational Emotional Somatic Therapy

A 4 day experiential training for therapists to experience working somatically and enabling us to process safely some elements of vicarious trauma and counter - transference, leaving us more resourced and equipped in our counselling work.

What can I expect from counselling?

We will have an initial assessment session to help you to see if I am someone that you believe you can work with. It also allows me to hear what you are wanting to come to counselling for and for me to ensure I am the right counsellor for you. 

If we decide to work together you will be able to gain greater self awareness, strategies to support you mannaging difficult issues and generally be able to process challenges and feel more  more empowered and able to manage life better.
